Well we did it, over 2000 views! Special thanks to all the readers. Special special thanks to all of those who commented.
Regarding yesterday's post, about the new Doyeah pantyhose for men, with the "specially designed front pouch" I did end up posting about it at LAUF:
http://forums.delphiforums.com/LegwearUF/messages/?msg=7199.1
Someone brought up the fact that it looks like a fetish product, and will not help in promoting male hosiery. I say who cares! I have to applaud Luxelegwear for their courage to post the product, and pictures on their website. Legwear for men carries them, but you have to email them separately to order. They apparently don't want to offend anyone.
PH or pantyhose balance is the balance I try to keep between my love for pantyhose, tights and other tight stretchy articles of clothing and my relationship with my wife and my life in general. There will be reviews of hosiery and other tight stretchy clothing as well as my ramblings...Enjoy!

I had writers block
I had some time this afternoon, and wanted to write an entry for our blog. I want to be creative, not repetitive. I also want to be on top of the "Mens Pantyhose News" so to speak. To get inspiration, I put on a pair of Comfilon 549's. I began searching for something new to write about, and I found it! I will post it here first, then maybe in the LAUF forum, maybe not.
I want to post a picture, but maybe a couple of links would be better. Remember Man-t-Hose, the pantyhose with the third leg?
Well those people over at Doyeah must have. I was looking at Luxelegwear.com, and noticed that they had a new style of Doyeah hose.
OK, you say, what do they have to do with the Man-T-Hose? Well, as not to be accused of posting pornography here, I will provide you with links to the other side of these hose:
http://www.luxelegwear.com/product_info.php?cPath=5&products_id=428
http://www.doyeah.com/cgi-bin/shop/switch.cgi?job=item_view&item=0828
If you are not brave enough to look, what Doyeah did, was to make an open ended sleeve for the penis. Now these look fun!
I doubt that these will be placed in the "function" category. I call them "fun" but some may call them "fetish". Either way, I want some! Remember, you heard it hear first!
We are almost up to 2K posts. Again, I want to thank the readers, and especially thank those who take the time to post replies. Until next time, remember, it may be fun to run in pantyhose, but it is no fun getting a run in your pantyhose.

I'm at a loss for words
I don't have much to say, but I want to keep you readers coming back. I did my really long run on Sunday. Surprisingly my legs are not too sore. I am taking a couple of days off before I ease back into running again.
Aggh.. I started typing this, and lost part of it because the internet connection got all funky..speaking of funky, maybe I should order something from "Running Funky" for my next race
http://www.runningfunky.com/
I'll stick out from the crowd wearing some of those tights or shorts! What color/style would look good?
Before I lost the internet connection, and half of my post, I was writing about how one of the only things I like about winter is being able to comfortably wear tights/hose under my regular clothing for warmth. But alas, the winter is almost over, and I will soon be putting my tights away for the summer.
Last summer, I started wearing mens sheer knee high stockings from Comfilon.
I wear the black stockings. I also don't pull them all the way up. It makes them appear less sheer. Wearing these socks gives at least my feet the feel of nylon in the warmer weather.

And surprises found stateside...
Wow, interesting week! I was out and about today and hit my favorite thrift store for books. I had the day off from work, so getting there on a Friday is almost unheard of.
Look at what I found for a whopping 49 cents! Talk about a blast from the past. I remember my aunt getting them this way. I don't remember my mom ever wearing them.

On the bottom part, at about 1:00 I can see a somewhat cut-off date that looks like it says H80-84RQ. Which I'll guess means Hanes, the years they used this labelling and RQ for regular/queen.
How funny that the purchase likely coincided with Mr PH's post.
Oh, I found this article about the ending of the original packaging. I'm a bit of a treehugger, so I am thankful for the change. (Oh why don't modern companies get with the program? Says she who loves canvas grocery bags and doesn't buy ziplock bags and Saran Wrap.) But at the same time am thankful that I was able to find this for the Mr.

No new news
I did a search for "Pantyhose News". I came up with a recent article, however, nothing was new in it, just in a different paper:
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/lifestyles/fashion/s_611419.html?source=rss&feed=6
Neat poster Mrs. PH came home with! She was joking about getting me some Wolfords, and when she said that she got me something, I was hopeful. The poster was a nice thought, and I'm glad she was thinking of me and hosiery. I really don't need expensive hose, just a wife who is thinking of me and my love of hose is enough for me. As they say , it's the thought that counts!
Although, cheap hose are not all that bad. I put on a pair of No Nonsense STW 100% nylon hose to run today. They are cheap, like $5 for a box of 4 at Wal Mart. Today is my last run before a really long run on Sunday. I'd wear hose on Sunday, but because the run is so long, I wear special toe socks that are like gloves with "fingers" for each toe. Wearing hose for running is fine on shorter runs, but there can be a lot of chaffing on longer runs.

A very fun surprise found abroad
I was away on a trip for work this past week and a few of the nights after business was settled, we would go out for drinks. At one of the locales, I saw this flyer and asked the host if I could take one with me. She gave me a bit of an odd look, but was amenable to letting me take one.
This was a busy trip without much free time for shopping for souveniers. However, this was so unexpected, I just had to bring one home to Mr PH. It sure is nice to be back. Where I was I saw lots of ladies wearing hose, but no men. Even the guys out running were in shorts. No leggings, hose or otherwise to be seen. Sorry guys.
I hope he likes it!

New group
I joined a new group, http://legwear.gather.com/ Lets' see if we can get some conversation started!
No, this isn't me, but it will be me this weekend. Got a big, long run scheduled. Unfortunately I think it will be too cold to be dressed like this. I may be wearing Comfilon tights, or Under Armor Cold gear, depending on the weather. Wish me luck!

A new look

Very Nice!
To quote Borat. I sent out the large pair of Shivers to an on-line friend. He wanted to pay for shipping, and I suggested hose in return. He said that he had a few pair opened, and washed, but not worn. I thought a few was three, but to my surprise, I got 6 pair in the mail today!! 6 pair of my fave's the Comfilon 549's.
It is cold out tonight. I'm wearing my Shivers tonight. So far I'm completely satisfied with them.
I see we are getting close to 1700 views...not bad readers, you rock!
I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I found this article and laughed, enjoy!

The new Shivers have arrived
And they fit freakin' great! Anyone considering purchasing a pair of these, I highly recommend them. The size chart is a bit off, I found though. Unless you fit the chart for large, go with the mediums. I was on the upper end of the medium on the chart, and I should have gone with them. You never know unless you try, that is the downfall of ordering without being able to try them on. I will wear them to work Saturday night, as it is supposed to be cooler.
The on-line friend that I sent the pair of large to, emailed me today to say that he sent me out a few pair of Comfilon's new out of the package, washed never worn. Last year, I bought about a dozen pair of hose/tights from him. For some reason, he wanted to get rid of several pairs of Comfilon 549's and 849's. I contacted him through the LAUF site, and he offered to sell them to me for cheap. I think I got about 15 pair for around $100. Such a deal.

Give them to a friend
Is what the owner of Shivers told me to do. I had don some tights business with a fellow LAUFer. He asked a question about the Shivers, and I offered the pair of large to him (because I was supposed to give them to a friend). He offered to pay for shipping, but I suggested a traded for hose. He agreed, what a bargain! I just hope they fit him better than they fit me!
I like the numbers...over 1500 views. Keep up the good work readers!
That brings me back to one of the first questions of this blog, fetish or function. I voted a while ago equal fetish and function. Today it was warmer, so I'm wearing Comfilon 549's, perfect weight for the weather. I do enjoy wearing them for function, and for getting jiggy. Wearing them for function puts a smile on my face.

Yes they have arrived...
But alas, they are too big. When I say too big, they are way to big!
I ordered large, since I seemed to fall right between medium and large on the size chart. When I pulled them out of the package, and held them up, they almost went up to my shoulders! I tried them on, and they came up to my chest, making the fly unusable, since it was by my navel. I emailed the owner to see if I could exchange them. she emailed back, and said that she was sending me a pair of mediums, and to give the large to a tall friend. What a great business owner!
I liked the sporty look, but Mrs. PH was not too impressed with the look. We'll see how the mediums fit. They were definitely thicker than regular tights, but thinner than spandex. Sorry but the real review will have to come next week.

Have no fear, shivers wear is here!!!
Mr PH will be most happy when he sees the package waiting for him on the kitchen table.
I've been kind of quiet here lately. Yesterday I was out with Mr PH and saw some smartwool tights- I think I'd definitely wear the footless kind. We love the smartwool socks here, but I'm certain I would not like the all one piece style of the tights. But that's just me, of course.

When are my Shivers going to be here?
I have been waiting with antici.........pation for my Shivers to arrive. I thought they might be in on Friday or Saturday, but no go. Maybe tomorrow.
I went on another very long run Friday, wearing my Comfilon A879 Footless tights with full support legs. My legs felt great after, considering the distance I ran. Was it the tights, or the Advil? I wonder...
I'm wearing the old stand by, the staple of my hose collection today, the Comfilon 549's
I have on a pair of a discontinued color, kinda a coffee color. I got a whole lot of them from a fellow LAUFer, who was selling his new in package collection. Got about 10 pair for about 9$ a pair, what a bargain!
The 549's are the first men's specific hosiery that I tried. I LOVE the fact that they have a fly. I find it most convenient when nature calls, or any other time you need to "whip it out!"
I found out through reading the link posted in our last post that the picture in the last post about Shivers is the sole owner and employee of Shivers, Mary Penn. One employee, no wonder they haven't arrived!
I like the idea that they are marketed as a "sporty" type of long underwear, instead of pantyhose or tights. Maybe more people will use them, and they will become more main stream.
Almost 1400 hits, wow we are Smokin!

I could not wait
I ordered a pair of the "Shivers" today. I can't wait to try them on once they come in. I think they have a great idea, making a product that, from what I've seen so far, looks like footed tights, but is marketed differently. I will be sure to post a review once they come in. I am a sucker for any type of hosiery with a fly, and do my best to try out every new brand that comes out. I still haven't tried the Doyeah Chinese hose yet. One pair at a time.
