Pantyhose tug of war?

And now for something completely different...

Apparently the Japanese have a pantyhose over the head game to!

Now does that look fun or what!

Pantyhose make you look younger

Two weeks ago, I posted about wearing pantyhose home from the dentist. Well it seems that the dentist had more work to do the other day. It was much warmer, so I wore cargo shorts and a t-shirt. I took a cheap pair of No-Nonsense tan hose with me. After my appointment, I had a couple of errands to run. I went into a bathroom at Wal Mart, and put the hose on, and completed my errands. On the way home, I stopped for gas. There was a liquor store there, so I stopped in for a bottle. Now, I am way over 21. The clerk carded me! I'm sure it was because of my very casual dress. But maybe the hose helped me look younger!

I would have posted this yesterday, but "Dancing with the Stars" trumped it!

Men in tights on "Dancing with the Stars"

I was hoping to find a video or picture to post, but I guess it is too early. Mrs. PH was watching "Dancing with the Stars" as I was prepping something to eat. I guess they were doing a group dance type thing and they were dancing to "Single Ladies" In the dance the men pulled off their pants to reveal leotards and white tights! The audience went wild!

Very nice to see that we've crested 4K visits, read and comment often!

Nothing new in the world of Pantyhose

I've been meaning to write, but nothing has been coming to me to write. The weather has finally warmed up, so I think it will be months before I wear hose or tights under my pants to work.

In the warmer weather, I wear the Comfilon A149 Sheer socks or the A409 Opaque socks. It still gives my feet the feel of hose, but they are not as warm as wearing full length pantyhose. Warmer weather is good for wearing hose and shorts though!

Looks like we are coming up on 4K views. Bravo readers, thanks for reading!

Running tights with sheer panels

I went to a fitness expo yesterday, and came home with some hand outs. In one of them, I noticed that CW-X has running tights with sheer panels to cool the runner down!

http://www.cw-x.com/ExploreProducts.aspx?gender=mens&product=tights&by=collection&sub=ventilator

I wish I knew about these, I would have inspected them at the show. The price is a bit steep, at just under $100 a pair for retail, they are a little out of my price range. I will have to keep watch for them on ebay, or at a discount price. As you can see, they have sheer panels on the thigh and back of the calf, that is supposed to cool the runner down. I just find it a step forward towards sheer legwear for men being more acceptable. If I really had balls, though, I'd just run wearing pantyhose and shorts!

Perfect time of the year to wear

Early spring is the perfect time of year to wear pantyhose and shorts. The weather here is sill cool, in the 50's and low 60's. The other day, I wore Comfilon 549's under my pants to the dentist. Now, these aren't regular pants. They are convertible, meaning that you can zip off the legs and make them into shorts. On the way home, I zipped off the legs, and rode home in shorts and hose. Later in the day, I did some light yard work in hose and shorts.

If you haven't tried convertible pants, they are great for wearing hose with. If you are brave, and want o venture out in hose and shorts, you can, and if you want to cover up, all you have to do is zip on your legs. Perfect for trying out wearing shorts and hose.

Cheap Department Store Pantyhose

Another staple of my pantyhose collection. No Nonsense hose can be bought in a 4 pack at Wal Mart for less than $5. They may not last long, but at less than $2 a pair, I wouldn't bitch if I put a run in one of them. These are my "work horse" hose. I may wear them around the house, or out and about, when I don't care if I have a fly. I do love the fly in the Comfilon and other hose specifically designed for men, but you do pay for that fly. The NN STW in tan also matches my leg color perfectly. I think I need to pick up another 4 pack...

No sun spots means cooler temperatures

That means that the hosiery wearing season will be extended! I heard this on the news earlier tonight, we are at a state of low solar activity, which means less of the suns energy reaching us, therefore lower temps!

I was pissed the other night. I had on a new pair of Comfilon 549's. I wore them to work, and after quite a few hours, I felt as if they were sagging in the legs. I made the mistake of trying to pull them up, then I felt it.....a friggin' run in brand new hose!
This is the thing I hate most about hosiery. I know that it is the nature of the beast, but it sucks to ruin a brand new pair, especially the Comfilon 549's. The pair I ruined, I got in trade, so it cost me nothing, and I was able to "glue" it to prevent a spead. Most people use nail polish. I use New-Skin, a liquid bandage, esentially the same thing.

This is a post about nothing

Hey If Jerry Seinfeld can do a show about nothing why can't I do a post about nothing! I have scoured the web for ides and there have been no new news stories about men's pantyhose, unless you count the news stories about men robbing stores while wearing pantyhose on their face. Maybe they should try wearing them on their legs, and they would have more luck!

I have noticed an ebay seller took my idea, and is selling the Doyeah hose. I hope they do well with my idea, hell maybe they got the idea here!

If you are interested one of the first pantyhose for men is for sale on ebay here:

Although they were sold as joke in the 70's and 80's, maybe they got some men interested in wearing hose. I have 2 pair. One, still new in the box, wrapped up in the original cellophane, and one which I have worn to the point that it is time to retire it. They are a hair too short for me, and made of 100% nylon. They did wear pretty well however. Not really practical but a fun product, and part of my collection of mens specific hosiery.
