More New Doyeah Products

A new product is available at doyeah.com, this one is translated as "Fine-structure Mesh Trousers" Although they have a sheer appearance, they appear fitted, rather than the tight feeling of tights or hose. I haven't been able to find anything similar on ebay, to see if it has a fly or not.

I haven't had a chance to wear the opaque Doyeah tights again, but the last time I did, I noticed that they fly was rather wide, and fell right on my "junk", so it felt as if I was falling out . I think I may have remedied this by putting in a couple of stitches to make the fly narrower. I used the Comfilon tights as a guide, the Doyeah Opaques were an inch and a half wider! This is kinda funny, because the Doyeah sheers have a much narrower fly. I tried them on and it seems like it may work. Only time will tell.

Doyeah Sheer Tights Test

Well it is a little cool tonight, so for the first time this fall, I decided to wear the sheer Doyeah tights to work. I will say that they glide very well under pants. The fly opening is a bit small, but it works. The fit is tight. At 5'11", and give or take a pound or two I'm running about 175, these tights don't leave too much room for wiggle. It is supposed to be cool again tomorrow. I will either wear a pair of Comfilon 549's to compare, or if it's cool enough, maybe the Doyeah opaque tights. Stay tuned.

An Example of Wearing Hosiery in Public

A reader suggested that a post be written about this example of a man wearing hosiery with a business suit. Do you think this look will ever catch on? More photos in this set by the "Hosiery Advocate" may be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/23958111@N00/sets/72157622262659084/ I think it is a smart tasteful look!

Another Quick Doyeah update

These tights are amazingly comfortable! I got the black ones. They appear to have a high spandex content. I tried them on again today, and I was blown away. Kudos to Doyeah! I also tried on the sheers and the crotchless. Apparently the crotchless is higher on one side, and lower on the other. Not sure what is supposed to be the back or front! I guess it depends on your preference. I look forward to trying all out in a full day's wearing, but that will have to wait until the weather gets cooler.

Doyeah Tights Arrive

I bit the bullet, and ordered a pair of each style of the Doyeah line from Luxelegwear. Here's my impressions.

Doyeah 10 denier sheer to waist: I took them out of the package, and held them up to my legs. they appeared to be long enough. I washed all of them, and when they dried, I tried them on. If I was any taller,(5'11") these would not be long enough. The fly is very narrow, but will probably do the job. A longer wear will give a better impression.

Doyeah 80 denier opaques: I took them out of the package, and held them up. Boy, they better stretch. After washing and drying, I tried them on. Wow, these fit great, and feel great. They remind me of the Comfilon 849's. sorry Steve, I think I may buy more of these when the 849's I have start to wear out. A longer wear will tell more.

Doyeah footless/crotchless: They looked small out of the package. After washing and drying, I tried them on. The fit OK, and the "crotchless" portion lines up with, well what you'd want it to. the verdict is still out on these too. With all, a longer wear time will tell more.
