Sometimes it is a No Nonsense Kind of Day

I prefer men's pantyhose, especially ones with a fly, but they can be a bit expensive. When I bought my first pair of pantyhose for myself, I went to a Drug store, and bought a pair of these, No Nonsense sheet to waist 100% nylon pantyhose. They can be bought now for less than $2 a pair, and you can get multi packs for less. These are utility pantyhose. You wear then, and if they run, who cares, they cost less than $2 each, and for me, the tan matches my skin well, being the "stealthiest" pantyhose out there for wearing in public. Who knows, maybe I will wear these on iMiTD 2011!

Do Running Tights Count?

Other than blogging about wearing men's pantyhose/tights, I am also a big runner. I'm currently training for a big very popular race that is held in the middle of April in New England. New England in mid April can be cool. The past two years, I have worn 3/4 running tights or capri's. In training in New England, especially this time of year, I wear full tights, usually Under Armour Cold Gear. I have been drooling over these tights from CW-X for a couple of years. They have sheer panels on the thigh and back of the calf. I haven't been able to bring myself to pay $100 for them though. Today, I found a pair for $50 online. I think I may try them, and hopefully wear them for the big race in April. Running tights do count, and it is already socially acceptable to wear them. You can also sneak in some tights not specifically made for running and get away with it too!

Quick Shipment From Body Aware

I ordered from Body Aware on Tuesday. With regular free shipping form USPS, the order came in on Friday! I ordered a pair of their men's tights and lightweight tights, both with a fly. When they came in, as I suspected they were unpackaged Comfilon A 849's and A549's. Both are my favorite styles, the 849 was slated to be discontinued, but it was saved. Not the same with the 549's. They have been discontinued by Comfilon. I wonder what Body Aware will do about carrying them?

I also got a pair of Jet Briefs, in nude. These are fun! The nylon material is soft, and the, well for lack of a better term, trunk, fits well. It is one size fits all for the trunk. For an average guy it fits fine. Those larger guys may find a tight fit. I wore them under shorts, and it felt like I was going "commando"

We still have plenty of time before iMiTD '11. I'm not sure what I'll be doing, but I hope you like me will be wearing tights, be they opaque or sheer on 11/1/11!

Ordered New Tights and Pantyhose Today

I have been wanting to order some tights and pantyhose from Body Aware , a site that specializes in men's underwear. The tights and pantyhose they have, I believe, are re-packaged Comfilion 549's and 849's. I will find out soon enough as I placed an order today. One thing I noticed, is that they have free shipping. That it a plus in my book.

I also ordered a pair of their underwear. They have some unique styles, and I've been wanting to try a pair of their Jet Brief's for some time now. Since I was placing an order, there seemed like no time like the present. I provided a link, but I think the photo is a bit risky. They do look fun though!

Happy 2011, Welcome to international Men in Tights Day!

Happy 2011! I knew that I'd be to busy with work and daily life to post for the New Year, that is why I chose to start the iMiTD conversion early.

I'm still trying to decide what to do to celebrate international Men in Tights Day. If I do it by myself, I will probably just go out wearing tights be they sheer or opaque, depending on the weather. If there was a group of readers that wanted to meet, we could do that too. I am located in the center of New England, and would be willing to meet for iMiTD somewhere within a couple hour drive for a coffee, lunch etc. while wearing tights.

I was going to place an order this weekend with Luxelegwear. I had a 20% off code, and was thinking of ordering some more Gerbe men's pantyhose. It was warmer this weekend, so I wore men's pantyhose instead of tights under my regular work clothes. One day, I wore Gerbe, and the other Comfilon. I realized that I liked the Comfilon A549's better, and they are half the price of the Gerbe even with the discount. Comfilon has discontinued the A549's, but I think that these are the same:

These can be found at Body Aware . From the look and description, they seem to be the same as the A549's. Does anyone know if it is true?

As is always please stay tuned for more new ideas of how we can celebrate iMiTD '11 on 11/1/11.
